I have this mat but never noticed it until recently when the heat makes it expand so much it can't fit and raises itself from the middle like a speed bump.

The OEM one works best. My 2nd RRS didn't come with one as standard but while the salesman was photocopying the paperwork, I was supplied one courtesy of a nice new RRS which was in the showroom, how kind. Various loan cars have also been the supplier of "spare" ones in the past. They are very good for the phone. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

well, I think it fell on floor and Wife swept it out when cleaning, but she refuses to accept that !

So today I bailed in the dealer I was passing. Naturally they had none. But are ordering one for tomorrow @ a shade under £9 + VAT.

Is the supply of these still thin on the ground? I eventually got mine from Dan, but it was the last one before they went on backorder again.

A chap I know who manufactures after-market domestic appliance parts, is always looking for simple little items that can be moulded that there is a demand for. This mat doesn't look like it would be complex for the chaps in China to tool for or make.

I wonder if it would be worth suggesting to him?
