Driving home from the office today, I saw 2x RRS and 1x Ewok on flat bed trucks heading to the stealers for maintenance. Its only 6 miles....bloody hell, its been very cool here but not THAT cool. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Well if you don't have to buy petrol like us mere mortals then I hope you're driving around in a supercharged V8 or equivelant then! |

That's just one of Land Rover's two standard responses ... the other is "they all do that, its a characteristic of the car"! Sorry to hear of your troubles Meccles. |

No 2R, I still have to buy it just like anyone else, mind you, I don't use that much even though I drive to the office in the city most days. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

2nd no, not if i stay in OZ , its not even 3 years old, at least another 2.5 years to go on it.. however if i move to the US with the new job ... then a MY14 V6 supercharged may be in order.... 62K on the road not 160K like OZ ... Bizzare though, all the problems have been caused by minor components, the first two times were faulty speed sensors... causing all electronic aids to go offline, and then a broken clip.. you would think it would have a reasonable level of fail safe for minor component failures Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Is that a long term move to the US Zilchy? We lived there for 4 years, enjoyed it while we were there but there is no place like home, so we moved back to Oz. I am very glad we did as things turned out. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
