13.8 MPG

Is that a record low for 3.0TDV6? Surprised

Knowing I'd only been using the car for really short journeys since I last filled up, 50miles in total, and with a/c having to work overtime at the moment, I thought I'd check the consumption for a giggle..... and 13.8 MPG, with an average speed of 11mph is what I saw! Shocked

Good job I don't have the petrol model! 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG
2007 Exige S British GT SE
Gone : 2011 3.0TDV6 HSE, Stornoway Grey, Ivory, Piano Black Trim, Paddleshift, Privacy Glass, Side Steps, Mud Flaps, Heated Steering Wheel, Timed Climate & Remote Park Heating Smile

Makes me think twice about my replacement, I only get 24 from my fl2, same short journeys style driving

Starting to think a LR might not be the best choice for town driving Confused

Oh well can't have everything, low mpg it is Laughing

Diesel is £1.479 a litre for Shell Nitro and £1.379 for shell regular

Petrol a little cheaper at £1.319 for standard unleaded

My son has a 4 year old 1.4 Petrol Grande Punto and gets low 40's doing short trips/low 50's on runs - the new 1.6 Diesel Mini we got rid of was only doing the same despite claiming 72 mpg combined Confused

On the supercharged RRS day I attended some years ago they were doing 6 mpg on the track Twisted Evil Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
