NO VOICE recognition

I have a 2019 Sport. Recently the VOICE CCOMMAND is not working - I am getting NO VOICE recognition message (sometimes it's okay other times it just is not working). I have taken out the microphone and checked the connection which seem okay. Any one any ideas as to what it might be? If it might be a loose or broken wire how can I access to check it out?? Andrew Kennedy

If its a 2019 car you've got a time machine not an RRS, you'll therefore need to speak Clingon or get Dr Spok to drive!

Checked fuses?

The most common fault with this is the wires break somewhere and the quickest solution is to run a new pair of wires from the back of the radio to the Mic, its the blue and red wires in the small connector on the back of the radio.

Nothing to do with clingons.

Flack Thumbs Up

On a serious note the Voice system is absolute Censored

My sons 4 year old fiat cost £5k and if I say "Telephone Sam Mobile" it does it but my New and last RRS just says "Sorry" when I say the same thing Banging Head Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

That sounds like the solution! Any help as to how I can access the back of the radio and check out the wiring would be helpful!! Andrew Kennedy
