the Jag 3.0v6 is as sweet as they come.

It's a Citroen sourced engine as it happens... Whistle

Lion V6 GenIII made at Ford's Dagenham plant. Whistle

It's a Ford engine that is also used by Citroen and Peugeot as well as JLR. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Have a 59 plate MY 10 & sorry only 6 speed auto !

When I enquired about buying my leased car they were talking about £29k for 62k mile 3.0 HSE registered end Feb 2010 with rear screen DVD.

Needs all the rubbers doing as bangs a lot over bumps etc & but apart from that straight car with full LR service history for what its worth. Paul

The "Lion" V6 was / is a joint Ford and Peugeot venture. The Lion being Peugeot's Logo. Its a brilliant engine, very smooth power delivery in 2.7 form. The old BMW 3.0D in the FFRR L322 was horrible by comparison.

Re: XX59UBW - LR RANGE ROVER SPORT DIESEL ESTATE 3.0 TDV6 HSE 5dr CommandShift
Based on a mileage of - 62,000

Further to your request for a purchase price on the above vehicle, I confirm that the price will be £27,950.00. Also payable is £316.00 Road Fund Licence. This price is valid for 30 days from the above date.

plenty decent 10MY cars for well under 30k, saw one today for 23k cap clean , I was soooo tempted but with 5 cars mrs pea wouldn't be best please. Laughing

Its no contest IMO the later car is a much better vehicle, IF you have the cash id go for the later model. Having said that i guess the older models will depreciate less with the 2014 RRS imminent.

When I moved into the 3L 8 speed 61 plate (MY12?) my initial view was it had become the car it should have been on launch (I'd had a 55 and a 58 plate prior).
