Looked in handbook but can't see any details - I thought on Disco you have to enter length, etc or is this different Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Your getting confused I'm afraid.

Tow assist and tow stability or similar names are different.

The one is linked to the surround cameras...that's where you enter the trailer details and it helps you hitch etc...The other is part of the programme when towing on all that have a trailer socket enable, look. After that dynamic Mike

I'm pretty sure you won't have tow assist if you don't have surround cameras. Sad ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

For me its one of those examples of why isnt the trailer assist standard and why isnt surround cameras.

You also get the reversing sensor display on the screen with surround cameras (which is good) but none of the technology is beyond having it on all models.

Unfortunately land rover have gone the other way. Mike

Surely it is better to have such items as options so those who intend to tow can add them and those who don't intend to tow can save the extra expense.

First my point is most the kit is there...it should be a feature (like on lots of cheaper cars)

Second Surround Cameras arent just for towing

Third tow assist aside the bendy lines are better the the standard straight and the sensor overlay is something that just should be there for all occasions when reversing Mike
