the modified oil pump is LR013487 but i think the 2006 model will have this oil pump fitted anyway, 2007 & 2008 seem to be the problem years and lr reverted back to the previous designs

Nah... They didn't revert back to a previous design. The part number you quoted is now the only one to fit for all 2.7 regardless of year. And is the stronger design. Bodsys Brake Bible

Don't forget you need to lock the flywheel so that you can undo the crankshaft bolt and once removed if you move the crank your timing position will be lost as there is no keyway on the crankshaft. Allow yourself a full day to the job.. Flack |
