United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Cairns Blue
RRS models

Hiya guys,

Looking at getting a RRS 4.2 SC, so just been doing some reading up.

Im confused in regards to model names such as "First Edition" and "HSE" they both appear to be the same.

So what are the order of the models released and what are the main differences. (This is just for the 4.2 S/C model).

Thanks in advance.

p.s I did a search, but not getting answer.

Hi & welcome to the forum. Supercharged is the highest Spec for the first made RRS - HSE didn't come in 4.2 Petrol versions. The Supercharged then evolved into the HST from 2006 onwards - if I'm wrong it won't take long for someone to correct me.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

First edition is the one to have in my view. Versuvious red with Y spoke alloys. Mmmm lovely. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I have just seens adverts that conflict... Owner with a early 2006 4.2 sc saying its a first edition and another saying HSE... I spoke to one guy who en said it was a Vogue.

A friend advised me to get the 4.2 sc over the tdv6/v6. I owned a RS4 V8 for 6 years so can handle bad fuel economy but not bad performence.

What PS and torque levels will a remap see? Is that a custom or generic map?

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

from what I was told, First Edition was the first batch off the conveyor belt, and its states 'First Edition' on the log book too.

I was told there were only RRS SC available as First Edition. Something like 250 Vesuvius Orange (not red), then 500 black, and 500 silver. Not sure if they were HST spec as I've seen some that are not, but mine is, so not sure if that was an extra or aftermarket job.  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

Ok thanks.

Is there any online broachers that can be downloded to get an idea what was available when new?
