If it were a re-designed Freelander, then I'd have understood . . . . in fact, thats what it should have been, the All New Freelander !

If the Evoque had a Ford badge on it then it would have slipped under radar. I agree with BC that the worst offenders have been left of the list, I disagree with the Allagro being ugly, bought one for £35 in 1987 with years tax and mot and it went on for years the then Mrs Simple abused it, drove it without oil and it refused to stop. Sold it in 1990 for £50 when Mrs S needed a newer car for work. It was replaced with another ugly duckling, a Fiat UNO 45 ES. Did 45 mpg and completed Croydon to Belfast via Haysham on half a tank of fuel  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

The M635CSi was not an ugly car. Your prejudices are showing...  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I bought one in 1985

Had a higher oil mpg than petrol - I think the engine and gearbox were one and shared the same oil
