OK so i'be bought "new other" autobiography exhaust tips from eBay, received them today to find they're far from being new. they've been used extensively. But anyway, thats eBay for you !

the question is, i've read a member talking about his tips being originally for a petrol and he had to modify them. I cant find the post anymore. But does anyone know how I find out if these are the diesel or petrol ones ?

Also, do I need anything else to connect these to a 2007 HSE ? I have read some people talk about a silencer? I know I will have to cut the origninal exhaust and Peachy recommended welding the new pipes. But am i missing some parts...dont wanna die of CM-poisining

DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Help can a fellow member with a diesel AB kit fitted please confirm the exhaust fumes are diverted vertically before they reach the tail pipe itself ( if that makes sense )

i have issues on my S/C petrol as the AB tips I have are designed for a different sized pipe, hacksaws coming out next week to chop off the existing welded-on S/C tips and make an adaptor !

I will have the time Peachy as I've packed the missus off on holiday !... and guess what I think I've sorted the rear sensors... Why?.. Because i can....

I expect you have now sorted out your exhaust tailpipe trims. I own a 2011 Autobiography tdv8 and these have turn down discharge pipes so the rectangular chrome trims are dummy and cosmetic.
The units shown appear to be for the Petrol V8 as they discharge through the centre.
Hope this is helpful but I cant help re fitting to pre 2010 model years.

I have S/C tips on my 2.7 TDV6, as Peachy says it was a case of cut and weld job done
