United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
Alloy Gator

Has any one had these fitted for a while, thinking of putting black ones on my A/B.
I see some old threads on it but nothing recently.
My wheels look fantastic and I would like to keep them that way for as long as possible.
I am drawn to kerbs as if they were magnetic.
Any advise would be appreciated. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.

I seem to remember there being problems on the bigger rims - I think they came off and damaged paintwork. Maybe wrong but I do recall reading something along those lines. A quick Google should do the job. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

For anyone with Diamond turned alloys, there is (if I remember) a warning notice on the website which indicates Alloygators are not recommended for these type of wheels.

I installed them and they came off as I kerbed my rear wheel at 30 mph. Then the speed of the car and a wildly spinning Alloygator did the rest. Scratched my entire left side. So yes they saved my alloys but Censored my paint. It looked like it had been keyed in concentric circles. I know which one I would rather protect. Hope it helps. Never argue with an idiot as he will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

I don't think they are designed to be tested at 30 mph. Big Cry

I tired them on my MY08 TDV8, with 20" rims. I couldn't stop them from moving out from their flush installed position. Tried everything, even using supa glue in strategic spots. No good. So was worried that they would come all the way out. I removed them as the worry of damaged guard was more concern than damaged wheel. And they didn't want to stay in place. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile
