An 07MY will be 6 years old this year, so will be due to 6yr/90k service Thumbs Up

However, make sure it has had the transfer box oil done at its last service (5yr/75k) Thumbs Up

Got Guy Salmon are picking it up next week for a service. It's £650 or if I sign up for three years of them servicing it it drops to £480. Much less than I thought it would be. I have to use a main dealer because of the new total warranty package I've just taken out. It covers almost everything apart from body and trim, up to the value of the car. MOT failure and wear and tear after three months is also covered. I've looked at the.agreement and though I'm no lawyer it looks ok to me.

How does it drop to £480? Do you pay up front for all 3 years? Otherwise what happens if you sell the car after a year? Question

I think you sign up for three years on a plan. There is now way I'm paying up front for services especially as my life expectancy is less than a year. If my Wife decides to keep the (Provided my daughter and I haven't stoved it in by then Rolling Eyes ) car after my death, then great but I'm not having her left with a bill to pay, nor am I paying up three years worth of servicing up front. If that's what they need me when I go in to sort this out then I'll just pay the £650. The money isn't an issue TBH.

It's a shame the warranty company specify a main dealer if I want the betterment clause removed as the guy I bought it off works with a Land Rover Specialist who he rates very highly, however it might be a good thing in the end. I reckon this service will end up costing a grand as they always fine something don't they Whistle

By the way I love your other car in the avatar, I thought I had a tough choice to make each morning New A4 or RRS, yours knocks my dilemma in to weeds LOL

I have negotiated my service costs at Guy Salmon Maidstone with NO up front costs - this deal is seperate from a service plan. All I have to do is show them the letter they wrote confirming the costs at each service.

16,000/ 1st Year Service £325.00

32,000/ 2nd Year Service £500.00

48,000/ 3rd Year Service £325.00

These were not that far away from a local Indy price.

Some here have got cracking discounts. 2013 (13.5MY) RRS HSE Black | Causeway Grey | Privacy | Ivory & Ebony | Grand Black Lacquer | Style 7 Alloys | AWESOME

Thanks mate that sounds great. If its ok with you. I'll link to this in reception and show what you're paying. Can anyone else let me have details of what they are paying for service at Guy Salmon's.
