Hi all,

I just wanted a little help from people who know what a genuine most recent autobiography bumper looks like. i have been offered a bumper for £300 without the trimmings, but it want to come as close as possible to a 2012/13 version.

from my searches on google, i have found two different looks of autobiography bumper. these are the following 2:

Your right the top one looks like a cheap copy, i have a genuine LR product on mine and doesn't look like the top one (as in quality and finish) middle looks near enough, however mine is black and silver.

The one at the bottom doesn't look like an autobiography due to it not having an exit on the right for the twin exhausts.

thanks for that. i asked the seller to give me a better pic and he sent this one of where the exhaust tips some out. does this look a little better? to me it looks like this is the real deal now.

TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Top 1 seems to have the large parking sensor holes & the bumper tow eye cover looks out of line ( therefore not original ) out of the 2 the bottom 1 looks the more likely.
Can't tell from the picture but again does the parking sensor holes look larger ?
Can it not be viewed & where's it from ?

If the bumper came off a factory fitted AB there should be signs of proof on the inside - either sequencing tickets or manufacture date labels they seem to stay on through all kinds of weather - if its been put on after it should at least have some kind of LR part number can't the seller send pictures of them. I've just looked at mine & apologies parking sensor holes are the same.
Have you asked Dan at Duckworths to price up just the bumper ? Be careful the sensor holders are usually pulled off when removing the sensors & they have to be plastic welded back on. What was the sellers reason for selling?

this is what he gave me for proof. i have been trying to find land rover part numbers that match this but i cant see anything. it looks like it is a genuine autobiography, do you reckon it will fit my '07 HSE ?
