Just borrowed a touring caravan for the bank holiday weekend and the car came up with the message "special systems off"
Then lost all power whilst pulling up hill towards jct 37 on m1. I pulled on to hard shoulder switched car of and back on again and it was ok after that until the way home were it did the same again coming the opposite way up the steep incline towards jct37. Again I switched of and back on and it was fine again. Anybody got any suggestions. It is an 06 tdv6. Thanks in advance for any replies.

You would need codes read ideally but top three are..

1. Split intercooler hose (very common)
2. Fuel filter req renewal.
3. Turbo on way out...

Thanks for the reply. Is there a place to look on intercooler pipe for a split or could it be anywhere. Just blanked of egr valves could that be anything to do with it?
