Just been doing a job with a client who has bought a brand new FFRR. Lovely vehicle. He flew off this morning asking us to get the vehicle valeted and left at the airfield for us return in a day or so.

We discovered that the boot won't lock automatically (or indeed in any other way) and as such the entire vehicle won't lock/can't be secured... We phoned the dealer who is local but they said there was nothing they could do in just a few days as it was probably a microprocessor fault needing workshop time...

So, one luxury car that can't be secured is now locked away in a hangar awaiting the owner to return to be informed his brand new motor can't be secured.

I can't (obviously) divulge their name but let's just say he will be on the dealer like a rash when he returns.

Interesting quality control times ahead?...

Have you checked to make sure he has not left the second set of keys in the car ?

If keys are in the boot it will not shut or lock - stops you locking the keys in the car !! Jon Witts

If the key was in the car surely the dealer should of suggested that
