GPS problem with voice commands

I have a 2009 sport and having a problem with giving voice commands. I am getting NO VOICE DETECTED when I try to give a command. It has been suggested it might be the mike that is at fault?!? Can anyone tell me where and how to get to the mike. Andrew Andrew Kennedy

The mike is in the front overhead light cluster.

Pull it down from the front and the whole unit clips out.

Its likely to be a broken wire between that connection and the back of the radio, so just splice two new wires in. Easy enough to run up the a pillar and through the headlining. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
