i was tinkering with the idea of precut sills, but in fact following the guide on the pdf the procedure was very simple !

Have a look at LR parts in Liverpool, £150 plus vat with cut out and they state with rubber non skip not plastic, it looks like they also fit.

What's the difference between the ones with the side sills and the ones without (i.e. what are these side sills; is it easy to cut out or is it not worth the hassle?) . Thanks |

The side sills are the plastic parts that cover the bottom side edges of the car, you can see them when you open the doors.

Thanks. ![]() So, is it necessary to cut them out? I mean why sell them with these not cut out out already if it is something that's not required / meant to be cut out? |

Oh yes its necessary to cut them out or they wont sit properly with the new brackets in place. I wanted to keep the original sills in place which is why I opted to cut them, but it seems most people go for the precuts. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
