Driving style memory function

Hi all,

Sorry been scratching my head, I'm sure I read that the RRS remembers drivers and their styles, and reacts accordingly, not sure if I was reading here, but anyway, does it, what does it adjust? Should I reset it? If so, how?
I know it's a bone question sorry to be a PITA.

Cheers

Mike

The memory seats feature remembers seat, steering wheel and wing mirror positions based on the key being used. Regarding driving style, the gearbox is adaaptive and learns gear changes over time but don't think it's per driver.

Personally, i think the gearbox learning your driving style is a load of Censored Whistle I drive the same route day in day out and my car still selects the wrong gear when taking a particular right hand turn then 1.5 mile down the road where i turn left, it drops down to 3rd when it should be selecting 2nd Shocked as i pull around the corner it labours Whistle even though ive used the paddle shift for a fortnight to try and train it which gear i'd prefer at that particular part of my journey. Whistle So tomorrow i think i will send my motor to work on its own and see if it gets there. It should know the route by itself by now. Laughing
And yes its had 2 gearbox updates that havn't made a blind bit of difference. Big Cry The worst thing about it is that when it labours you put you foot down to help it select the correct gear and it takes off like a tw4t and puts your passangers neck out of joint. Shocked

When my 6 numbers come up I'll have a manual gearbox made to fit. That way I'll be in charge of gear changes. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

Some examples, After teaching it down changing how i like when braking...and...how i don't always want it to down change when in the cruise but when i want to just increase speed a little

It does those things for me.

If i want a gear i selected it...just of paddles. Mike

Bloody hell, your sport is intelligent.... Laughing Ive tried to teach mine to change down at the same turning every day for a fortnight with the paddles... Has it taken any notice Question Has it hell, it still does the same goes around the corner in third Whistle so now ive started to abuse it by pulling the paddle to down shift to 2nd and bloody flooring the thing in frustration. Memory box my arse Whistle It is better in sport mode though because it uses the gears as i would as if it was a manual box.
