Turbo Replacement

Hi
Just had a call from the garage to say the fault on the car is the turbo, and i should get this work done under the warranty as i have only had the car for 4 months. Just wondering if it is wort while getting them to replace the other turbo at my expense, as it it usual a body off job to fix. The car is a 2007 3.6 v8 with 61,000 miles Question

How long do you have left on your warranty?

Warranty has about 7 months to run it is AA gold cover. Not sure what the exact fault is with the turbo, probably find out later as we are having a meeting with the Garage.
Long story cut short.
Bought the car from Lexus in December straight away it had a error messages and power loss they sent it away as the cant do the work themselves (no gadget to read the erroe messages), then a problem we mentioned on the test drive returned ,so they replaced one of the front discs.
4 weeks ago error messages with the suspension so it went back again to there "specialist" who allegedly fixed the fault and returned the car to Lexus, but before i collected it the fault re-occurred. So off it went again this time they replaced ECU? and noticed it also had a turbo fault.
Lexus rang me to say because i had not taken possession of the car between the faults we were not covered for the turbo and it would cost me £2000 to get it fixed.
I rang trading standards just to confirm my status, and then sent Lexus a recorded delivery letter saying the car the sold me was not fit for purpose and as such i will not be paying for the repair, hence the meeting later today

In the words of the song by the 3 degrees "when will I see you again" We are entering the 6th week anniversary of when the car went to be repaired.
They fixed the turbo by saying it was a stuck actuator arm? but it the developed a electrical fault with the rear indicators.
My advise to anyone is if buying from a non Land rover Garage check what systems they have in place to repair the car if and when it goes faulty

That's not clever. Might we suggest they fit genuine LR bulbs as so many problems are caused by crap quality bulbs Whistle
Fairly confident that bulbs didn't cause turbo issues and it is common for actuator arms to sieze up if the car has been stood up on a forecourt. Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

well picked the car up on Friday and i can honestly say its a different drive, so what ever they have done to improve it defiantly worked.
And as part of an apology for taking so long £200 and my scuffed alloys fixed
