Does anyone have a phone number for the Landrover Special Events Team on there invite, i'm off to manchester tonight for the preview but lost my confirmation so need to ring them I suppose for a copy

Went last night, 2 cars there, One supercharged A/B in Chile Red and a SDV6 A/B in Corris Grey.

These were pre production models so a bit rough round the edges, front view etc looks really good, the rear i'm not so sure. The plastic bumper/trim at the back is tacky to say the least, needs painting. The bonnent vents which are purely cosmetic look like a Halfords aftermarket product, the car doesn't need them.

Inside it is very nice but i expected it to be a little bigger tbh, not that much room in the rear. In the front it is very nice indeed apart from a very thin steering wheel, needs something more chunky.

If you like a car with toys you will need to spend £75k min, I think it's overvalued and JLR taking the pi$$.

I have an order for one but don't fancy becoming a LR R&D engineer so may wait till next spring.

JLR are taking the just price v spec - ignoring some of the other things, that needs to be solved before you get anywhere near to the first run issues.
