2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Replacement Battery

Hello all, I need a new battery for my 07 TDV8. Land rover are quoting £254 for an OEM battery. I'd appreciate it if anyone can recommend an alternative capable of delivering a cold crank current of 950 Amps. There are Bosch & Varta with 920 CCA rating for around £100.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The RRS is very susceptible to issues caused by batteries/electrical supply so beware of "similar" batteries. It's a pain and LR's battery price seems a tad high (although it is an AGM battery these days rather than the older, cheaper, technology) but it is probably worth going for the LR battery. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I agree, go for the original it'll be better for your car in the long term as others will end up messing with the electrics.
