Much better than the cheap supermarket s h i t. My motor has only ever had shell diesel in it since 2 mile on the clock.

Thumbs Up

Thanks Ady Thumbs Up I believe supermarket fuel is false economy. Can't say about any mechanical benefits but after moving from Tesco/Sainsbury/Esso to Shell, one thing I know for sure is that the tank lasts longer. At least enough to offset the 2-3pence/litre price difference. Since this realisation I now only put Shell diesel too.

Cheers Ady,

Like yourself I have always used Shell since new, part of the logic is the Shell points card but I keep forgetting to redeem the voucher Rolling Eyes that said I would never use supermarket fuel, less detergents etc.

For the first time in a long while I filled up with the v power diesel yesterday and received a free Sky day subscription voucher, allegedly worth £9.99 Rolling with laughter might use it the next time I have to rely on the BBC coverage of F1 highlights since I have never had SKY, bit like supermarket fuel Thumbs Up refuse to be a Sheep

thanks Ady,

Round my way Shell is the same price as the supermarkets so it's a no brainer. A friend of mine works in the refinery business and he says never use the supermarkets as it is certainly a lower grade fuel.

There's a Tesco and an Esso located 100 yds from each other near me.
Esso has to compete so price matches and sometimes beats the Tesco. Cool
I never understand why people use Tesco over Esso when I see them filling up Confused ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Used to be a non believer. Having seen shell lorry delivering to Tescos, and vice versa. But since taking on a maintainance contract at DHL, I know they might use the same tankers but fill from different tanks depending on destination. Am told Asda fuel is the lowest quality available but know nothing categorical Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Thanks Addy, mine runs out 31st May Bow down

I have just filled up using my 10p off per litre at Tesco Whistle but will defo use this and see if I can see a difference. My "tesco tank" only showed a range of just shy of 400 when I brimmed it. I have seen over 400 before but appreciate that this may be down to other factors like historical driving conditions.

Thanks again.

I'd take up the offer but it only costs me £24 to fill mine up here in the UAE. Laughing

Bum. Didn't realise that it was not at all Shell stations. How did you find the participating ones? 2013 (13.5MY) RRS HSE Black | Causeway Grey | Privacy | Ivory & Ebony | Grand Black Lacquer | Style 7 Alloys | AWESOME
