Removing torx wheel disc retaining screw

Trying to change the front disc on my RRS S/C and not matter what I have tried can't get the torx retaining screw out.

Tried hammering, impact driver, and heat but nothing shifts it, even twisted the torx bit.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Was going to weld a nut onto the screw and then should be able to get it out.

Is there anything to be careful about when mig welding. Is dosconnecting the battery enough to ensure no damage is done to the car?

Thanks

I find hammering the disc around the screw helps to loosen it, or hammer the torx bit into the screw. Same thing, just helps shock it loose Thumbs Up

Tried every way to loosen it but it won't go. Hammered it but it won't budge.

If I go the route of welding a nut onto the screw what precautions would I have to take to ensure there is no damage to any of the systems of the car. Is disconnecting both battery terminals and leaving for about ten minutes enough?

Thanks
