Nick, I would, but it's all about the grams...I'd be worried about the weight it'll add Laughing

I would just like to add , you are certifiably nuts!!, worked out that the average is 12 miles an hour over the 24! Any sportives I have done I am lucky to average that over 60 miles! Good for you! Thumbs Up

Was at the Glasgow Bike show at the weekend, but I don't know if my cycle to work scheme will stretch to a £10k Pinarello!

As an aside, a mate swears by a jelly baby every 15 minutes and a swig of Hi5 or similar on the half hour

Cheers
Dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG

^^^ What a stupid idea Shocked There will be more rear end shunts than ever because people are usually looking at signs to see if they are coming off at the right exit. That idea would be a nightmare. Whistle
Sorry Bc, don't want to distract from this great cause. Back on topic. I still can't get my head around you cycling 280 in 24 hours Shocked Was you intoxicated when you said that you would do it Question Laughing

Ady, you are right, but it is pedestrians that come off worse. i lived in Rotterdam for a while, and right outside the train station is a massive roundabout , you have trams, cars and bikes criss crossing - its a nightmare walking accross the road.

Thanks Dave Bow down Thumbs Up - just to make it worse, the average is closer to 15 mph by the time you factor in the ferry crossing and stops for food/water Shocked

LOL @ a Pinarello (Dogma 2 Question ) on the ride to work....if only. My mate got one of these last year and it's a lovely bike,
