Spotted at Beaconsfield Services on M40 this morning. 3x new shape RRS on trade plates...

1x 6 cylinder oil burner
1x SC Petrol
1x TDV8 oil burner (pictured)

The kind gentlefolk on JLR let me have a lookiesee and sit inside. A lot tighter than the FFRR. Very similar in feeling to the Evoque when I test drove it at launch.

Shocked From that angle it looks 100% like an Evoque and those wheels look pants IMHO. Seems a lot of these have broken cover following the launch. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ditto. Somebody at LR stuck a picture of the Evoque on the photocopier and pushed the enlarge button. It's lost the rugged manly good looks and gone all hairdresser'y. MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

The first picture here shows a better looking wheel in my opinion.

I still don't like it from most angles (not yet at least). The interior is very good and the exterior is OK when looking at the front but that's where it ends (for me anyway).

I like it lots.

Just bought my 2010 HSE & now I'm counting down 'till 2017. That's when I plan to change again & I can afford the new model. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

Agreed. The front is ok but the rest is too sleek and wrongly proportioned. Even its arse sticks out!! We WILL get used to it but it'll never be as imposing as the current version. I suspect many will opt to buy the new Vogue instead? MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

In my case I am fine. Currently on the pre-facelift model so MY10-MY13 RRS will still be a massive upgrade for me. After that, yes, may be the new Vogue (love it) once it comes within my relatively modest car budget Laughing

As much as I love the new FFRR, I was on the motorway the other day and saw one from a distance......although I didn't realise until We we fairly close, I actually thought it was a Sport. Like you I think the outgoing FFRR looks better than the current and the same can be said for the RRS. Seems JLR have got their models a Censored e about face. Maybe the paperwork got messed up on the photocopier and the new FFRR is actually the new RRS and the new RRS a Grand Evoque Whistle Laughing ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

When you see the evoque XL sorry sport - you will easily double take, thinking its the evoque not the FF - we did this yesterday and I did it today. Mike

My sentiments entirely John. First time I saw the new FFRR, I genuinely thought it WAS the new RRS. Then, when I finally got to see the new RRS, I was convinced it was the Evoque. A radical facelift was perhaps overdue for our beloved Sport but someone in Solihull (or India) has lost the plot with this one!!!!
