Seriously you have just purchase the car and your asking how to tell the difference, it's sounding to me like your not sure what you have bought Shocked

What was it advertised as when you bought it?

Wow, that's got me REALLY confused then.... Question

So confused I'm wondering if YOU'RE not taking the mickey my old son Rolling with laughter :!!?:

I'm easily confused though

What did you think you were buying Shocked ?, what does it say on the V5 registration document and possibly most importantly (aside from what are you proposing to keep putting in the fuel tank?...) what have you insured it as..

I suggest if you are still struggling drop the registration number into the first stage of most of the najor car insurers websites and they'll tell you.

This is great site and there's more help than you can ever imagine on here but IMHO you need a sense of humour too!

Enjoy your RRS and what help I can be I'll willingly offer you Very Happy 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes...

S/c

You can always tell the supercharged RRS by the constant smile on the drivers face as they pass you by at warp factor 9 !!!

Honestly, I have had some fast cars over the years, one of my all time favourites was the Lexus 300, which was like a formula one car for performance. But simply nothing, not remotely anywhere on this planet, even begins to come remotely close to owning and driving a RRS supercharged V8.
Without any doubt the best car on the road in the UK today. There are many that would disagree, I know I have listened to several over the last few weeks, however, offer them a drive in the RRS and they instantly become addicted, it's easy to moan about something you have no experience of, but once you have tried it, pressed that accelerator hard, heard that supercharger start to growl and felt the power beneath you that just launches you along in unadulterated luxury, you just have to smile.... A lot, and you keep on smiling.
It's so much more than a car, yes it's a bloody big status symbol, but it also screams luxury, I for one absolutely love mine and cannot see me moving away from the brand or indeed the supercharged variant ever.

Enjoy it, we work hard enough for them, just feel sorry for those running around in anything other than a RRS. 2005 Rang Rover Supercharged
Loving every minute !

Is this post a Censored take?

How can you not know what car you've just bought?

I once bought some flowers for a girlfriend at a market for Valentines Day.

They were hanging upside down from the roof of the stall and I just pointed at the bunch I thought were best.

The guy on the stall took them down and wrapped them.

Only when I was proudly showing my student mates in our house what a Romeo I was did one of them tell me I'd bought plastic flowers..

Didn't do the trick either Crying or Very sad

Guess things can be wrapped up and not appear what they are if you are niaive enough to just buy without looking.

I'm with V88ABA though... Cool 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes...

It's got to be Censored . The guys bald, so I'm guessing he's a bit old to be a named driver on a parents policy.

Therefore surely he would have declared engine size when insuring?

Also how does he know how much the car was worth if he didnt know the model?

20.5mpg average, that is not a sc, sounds like you have a tdv8 Laughing

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

as said above - if its orange like mine, it's a SC

SC and orange is the only RRS combination !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

All mentioned above can be replicated by any RRS - dashboard, badge, vent etc.

The only part that does not get replicated is the break pads. Supercharged will have huge front break pads (perhaps TDV8 too - I do not know). Vadim A.

Didn't the early ones have perforated leather seats unique to S/C?
