Not sure if this has been covered before, so will share...

When using the sat nav on my 57 2.7 HSE the nice lady always shouted at me and was very loud, (obviously picked up from my wife I ended up on each instruction turning the volume down on the radio section to reduce the Dbs.!! Being a full alpha male referring to the handbook was totally out of the question so I proceeded to press everything on the screen to try to work it out.

I went through all the user settings etc. but nothing was there to set the volume at a certain level, by pressing and trying things it turns out that if you press the nav button on the screen first (the one where you can get her to repeat the instruction in the right hand corner) and then then volume control on the steering wheel you can set the preferred volume level form 1 to 10.

Just got to sort the wifes volume now!!
