Can anyone give advise re paddle shifter fitting. Its been covered for 2010 RRS models i note but does anyone know if it is more straight forward plug and play installation for newer models. My mid 2011 HSE has a good option level but i am missing the paddle shifters and hoped I could get them retro fittted? Any idea of cost and this programming of the CCF business has me lost???? Why can't a land Rover dealer do it?

I can't think of any reason why it would be different to a 2010 RRS, as long as that is the MY'10 variant, as yours will be the MY'11 with very little difference - just a few extra things as standard.

Easy and very common...Tight D3/4 people are well known for doing it - have a look there.

I like the paddles and speced them on the 2011 when they werent standard...but then you have the gear stick so actually you could avoid them, i always didnt see the massive need (although i liked them)

They are a pain in the neck.

Much better to put the auto into Sports mode and let it do the work,

I am forever hitting them (particularly when low speed moving with a trailer) and then finding I am "stuck" in gear when pulling away until I over-ride them back into "D". 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

I had a call the other day telling me my car was "broken" and revving and wouldn't change gear. This didn't appear to be a concern to her as she was driving revving the cars nuts off and calling me

Thanks for the info folks, I have been away. Just got back on line...Why do I want them?.....French Alpes mountain hairpin driving in snow for 4 months of the year..simple sometimes you just want to change down or up in the bend....auto doesn't know when I want to change and its best to keep you hand on the wheel in these conditions.
