RRSport TDV8 - 22" wheels??

Chaps,

Has anybody Fitted 22" Rims on their RRS, if so what are the implications, got the standard 20"s on mine but they don't seem to fill the arches as i would like Sad

I know that the change will give me a false reading on the speedo however i am more intrested in the affect on the ride Shocked

furthermore does anyone know a supplier of wheels who doesn't want an arm and two legs Big Cry

Thanks in advance Mr. Green

I have 22's, they will give the car a harder ride and i would guess cause wear on balljoints etc a little quicker than normal, but they do look better in my opinion.

Make sure you get the correct load rated rims. 2007 TDV6 HSE

England

I purchased mine with 22's but borrowed a 59 reg with 20's on - I'm seriously thinking of selling my 22's Whistle to go back to the 20's which in my opinion is a more comfortable ride. I feel every bump and pothole & thats with Toyo Proxes fitted.I also purchased the IID tool to lower the suspension to fill the gap between wheel arch & tyre but it gives to much of a bouncy ride. As has been said you will feel every bump in the road but they do look 10 x better in my opinion so it's up to the individual style or comfort Wink

22's give harsher ride for sure, but after always owning performance lowered cars its bearable to me Thumbs Up

ABS seems more sensitive on bumpy roads too, and there is constant paranoia over the curbing !

But they look soo much better Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Why?.. Because i can....
