England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I think that with its high waist, small windows and rounded body shape that the Evoque and the new RRS have design similarities with the PT Cruiser. A bloody awful looking car, which is why I am not jumping up and down with excitement having seen the latest LR offering..............

No TDV8.......yet??

Aside different painted bits why would I want an HSE Dynamic over a reg HSE. What's the £5k getting me.

Pricing ..about 10%-15% more than the outgoing Sport? Gone:
2016.5MY RRS HSE Dyn
2015MY Disco Sport HSE
2011MY FL2 HSE
2010MY RRS HSE
2008MY D3 HSE

As the most popular model (due to price) will be the RRS soft reader, I will wait until the all new BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 are launched later this year.

I ran an XC90 for 7 years before buying the RRS and all I ever had to do in all that time was put new tyres on every couple of years. With all the QC problems that JLR has it does make you think............ Whistle

Triple7 thank God that we re still in recession otherwise LR would have hiked prices by 25%! Rolling with laughter

The new RRS is being built for overseas markets, LR doesn't give a toss about the UK market when compared to the USA, China and the Middle East.

Does anyone know the reason why you can't spec 22 inch wheels with the third seat row?

Dynamic makes the Sport a proper off road vehicle. If all you'll do is polish it and take the kids to dance classes then the HSE will be perfect. If you want to thrash it along a windy road and then turn off and go cross country then you'll need the dynamic. The HSE is a Chelsea Tractor. The Dynamic is an accomplished off roader that also cuts it in town.

The dynamic gives you a low range transfer case and the full Terrain Response 2 system incorporating "wiggly driving" and rock crawl (for full articulation). I.e. the bits that mark the RRS out from the crowd... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Is low range standard on the dynamic? Thought the low range was an option MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

I haven't seen a "tick here for low range" option... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I hope that there is an option NOT to have a black roof. It would be a nightmare here in summer. I would like to see one in white without the black roof.

Those black plastic things ate the front and the back are a bad idea as they never look nice for very long. Take a look at black plastic bits on any car more than 3 years old, they look grey and faded. This should do wonders for the sale of Amorall!! Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2009 Buckingham Blue RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2010 Alaska White RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Gone - 2017 Chawton White RRS 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Current - 2010 Java Black RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Current- 2024 RRS P400 SE Dynamic

Dynamic makes the Sport a proper off road ...

How sad when you have to pay extra to make your landie off road capable, irrespective of the marketing hype and splurb, it goes against LR tradition and heritage....in the evoque maybe understandable, but not in the Sport Evil or Very Mad Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
