Having seen the numerous issues that people have had buying from a dealer, I'd not touch an RRS from an auction to be honest, but that's me.

I'd be asking myself why an 09 RRS is in an auction in the first place - eminently saleable especially with such low mileage. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Got my 06 from auction , saved 4/5k on retail had it 2 years now , in that time its had new bonnet switch ( alarm kept going off ) new tailgate switch ( upper tail gate would not open ) new rear pads and discs , and 2 services at local indy .... touch wood .....

Got my 58 plate HST from auction owned it 3 years so far and only knocking suspension repaired under warranty and bonnet switch replaced under warranty. Buying from auction is more or less like buying from dealers if its going to go wrong it will.

I have seen 70k motors at auction which are a month old coming to auction. TDV8 HST STORNOWAY ON A 58

Bought mine from auction ex lease just 2 1/2 years old with 16,000 miles saved 5K on dealer price! It has been fine just normal issues egr's and alternator...

didn't make the sale in time , although it was interesting to see some of the other stuff going through, some really nice looking cars at what seemed like reasonable money, don't know what extra commission etc would still have to be added but it was worth the visit
