Planning another holiday to Dubai in October, previously used BA but doing the quotes this year Emirates is coming out about 2k cheaper when travelling business class, I've not flown with Emirates before and just wondering if anyone else has and how they fared compared to BA etc. particularly using business class. I wouldn't be able to justify paying the extra 2 grand. In fact I found Emirates crew to be better trained and politer than BA's but that can vary of course.

Emirates are excellent. The business class wasn't quite as good from a seating point of view as BA but, not enough to be a real issue. Overall I found them a better experience. Definately worth taking the 2k saving over BA. Have a nice holiday 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Flew Emirates to Australia and they were superb. They couldn't do enough for you. The flight was very comfortable and whilst me and my brood were in "cattle" class, the business section other than having slightly better seats, didnt look worth the extra £££ with just a curtain between us - kids were still running about (not mine I hasten to add)

I travel Emirates via Dubai to Jakarta sometimes instead of via Singapore.
