Number plate shapes please

Just about to stick my private reg on the car and not sure what shape plate to put on the rear. Currently has shaped plate but wouldn't mind seeing what the rectangular looks like instead.

Any chance someone could post up pics of their rearplate, oversized would obviously be what im thinking of.

Thanks

Oversized rectangle rear plate is the way to go....... Std size is too small IMHO, but are cheaper to produce hence why some dealers will supply them from new.

LRUK registered/run vehicles are always fitted with the oversized versions on the rear.

530mm x 150mm for the authentic OEM look! Wink

If you look further into number plates then there are two different types of finish too. The original and best looking (again IMHO) are printed with a clear plastic front, effectively laminating the plate. There are cheaper methods where the characters are printed directly onto a think plate with no plastic cover. To the reg plate insane like myself you can see a slight texture to them. Shocked

James Thumbs Up
