Jimmy welcome back, where you been hiding. Would a standard RRS on crap road going footwear manage the course, or is it

Hey Zilch - great to be back! Have been hiding out on the tracks making mischief as usual and spending time putting videos together. Have been very remiss in dropping in here regularly to say hi. I was actually going to make a special provision in the trip to include a 'Land Rovers' allowance for road rubber given how well they perform. It really depends on weather in the Watagans as there is a lot of clay. If it's dry weather you'd be fine for the tracks we will be doing. Surprised though you haven't shod the new girl with some decent rubber as yet. Will she take 18" rims? If so you could borrow a set of my A/T's 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6 |

Unfortunately not mine Meccles. It belongs to one of my best mates Scott Russell who is a member of our Misadventure 4WD Club and features in a number of the videos on our youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/JamieOGilmore It's a real weapon. Keep your eyes peeled on 4WD Action magazine. You'll see our 60th anniversary SVX Defender in there Should be May edition. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6 |

We're doing Perth-Ayers Rock-Simpson-Adelaide-Perth, and that's only 10 days (pressed for time due to work commitments), but we'll still enjoy it. Guess it depends on how long you want to stop.
