Hi,

As I understand it the Heated Steering Wheel is standard equipment with the luxury pack on an HSE car however I can't find anyway of turning it on. I have seen a diagram suggesting that it should be on the lower right of the steering wheel??

Is it possible my car does not have this feature, it is listed as having it on the dealer specification of the car so I am a bit confused!

Does your steering wheel have a button just below the right hand side paddle shift? (assuming your steering wheel is central at the time of looking)

Thats the button, the green one at the back of the wheel to the right hand side of the phone controls. if you have that which you should have on a luxury model, then you just pull it towards you to switch it on and it will glow orange.

Mmmm thanks, no I don't, which leads me to believe the car is not a proper luxury specification car!

Is there anyway I can find out what options it left the factory with?

If you give the dealer the VIN number they should be able to check it for you.

Firstly this isn't a Land Rover dealer it was an independent, however, yes I believe I have had the wool pulled a little bit!

Firstly I was told it was an Autobiography which I pointed out it wasn't it was an HSE with Autobiography kit, but then I was also told it had the Luxury pack applied, which it obviously hasn't because there is no heated steering wheel

I did question whether to go to a non Land Rover dealer and I guess I have now answered my own question! But I am not unhappy with the car it is absolutely superb in every way other than having cold hands in the morning (what a big girl I am) and it is in the colour I wanted, with the Autobiography bodykit I wanted with the interior I wanted so not all bad

Just set your air vents so that they blow in the direction of your hands on the steering wheel problem solved, nice warm hands
