Hi all, i already did a search with no results... My RRS doesn't have the radio menu on the Sat-Nav.... It's a 2006 unit... Why is that?

I don't think it was available until 10MY

Worth it, do not know, it depends, do you want the radio controls on the nav screen?

The mod to have that on the screen is quite easy and quick, just cut one wire.

The issue is that it seems that the screen will be quite dim, how much I do not know, I haven't tried it, some say too dim, some say ok.

To regain the full brightness is bit more involved as described in the thread. '08 RRS TDV8

I've flicked through the thread on the discovery site, and the amount of negatives seems to outweigh the positives, I don't think that I will be doing the mod. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

As anyone done this mod on there sport

I've done this for a couple of sports, last one I ended up reconnecting it for the customer as it is just too dark. Another option is to put a simple switch in so you can reboot into Rrs mode in the evening.  Bodsys Brake Bible
