Surface rust on calipers

How do I get my lovely original calipers back?? Crying or Very sad

All I've ever done is look after my RRS since new last year & the calipers look like they're off some old jalopy! Big Cry[/img] MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Fuji/Ivory/Grand Black/Privacy

Only two options really: 1. paint them and apply new Brembo logo decals yourself or 2. take them off and send them away to be professionally painted. Plenty of information on this site re painting or google for a company that will paint them for you.

Planning to paint mine when the weather is a bit warmer. Did lots of research to find decent heat-resistant paint, lacquer and decals ordered everything so all ready to go.

Website of company that will paint calipers or sell you the paint here: http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com/index.html#.USEobB256DM
They will even arrange to take the calipers off for you refurb and refit.

There is sort of a third option which is fit those plastic caliper covers but can't imagine they are really safe somehow. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks Paddi.

I will take a look. I'm not so great with the mechanicals, so I'm not sure I could be confident enough to take them off myself, so the other option you mention may be best for me.

Cheers Thumbs Up MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Fuji/Ivory/Grand Black/Privacy
