Witnessed a similar incident with a little old lady launching a car up over another in a car park. Hers was only a small Clio , but it managed to launch a bigger saloon onto the top of another. Common factor is AUTO, she obviously panicked and kept the foot on accelerator! Doubt if either of these accidents would have been as bad if they were manuals.

A Friend of my wifes reversed her FFRR up onto a porsche boxer.

And didn't realise


Someone rushed over and told her to stop reversing...beacuse she was up to the windscreen

Not one of her finest moments, but about 10 years ago, Mrs Bean was reversing off our driveway in our FL1, the FL1 had reverse beeps, but she seemed to ignore them, reversing UP a Renault Clio that was parked at the bottom of the drive, the Clio needed a new wing, bonnet repair, new bumper and new O/S headlight........FL1 damage, a new reflector in the rear bumper

Since then, cars with reversing cameras or pretty sonar pictures have been the order of the day  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
