Last year on a trip to Cornwall I set out with the range counter showing I should have 50 miles left when I arrived. It steadily dropped, it was a 'spirited' run and with 20 miles to go hit '0' range. It was very hilly and after about 15 miles my nerve gave out and I filled up. I did fill it and can't remember what I put in but in theory I still had more than 8 litres left and could have made it. |
