2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey
RRS HSE Black discounts?

Hi All,

Looking to buy a new Sport HSE Black, want kind of discount should I be looking for?

So far I have been offered 10.3% off of list.

Is this good or can I get better?

Cheers

Sounds quite good to me. I got about 8% off my new Disco Hse Luxury. So around 10% sounds like a good deal. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Sounds like a good deal to me. Is that in the region of 6k? Not bad at all

The rule of thumb is that 10% is the max retail normal purchase discount you will achieve...you can get more for other reasons, but 10% is the max discount to expect for the majority of people Mike

I'm not sure flat discount is always the issue.

I've just got 6% off my Black HSE but....I also got top book on my 10MY TDV8 HSE.

I was more interested in "cost to change" than outright discount.

Overall with the price I've got for mine, discount, Gap insurance, Dynaglaze paint treatment, wheel & tyre insurance rubber mats, bootliner, mudflaps all round, a full tank of diesel and 1/2 a day at LRE and an overall invoice price £1600 below list....I'm happy.

^^^^ Totally agree and my deal was a combination much like yours, but, in basic terms 10% does seem a good discount. If you don't get the right offer on trade in for your old wheels then there are other options such as We Buy Any Car or private sale. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Agree with scrumps. Cost to change is what really matters but if you can get a good discount on the new RRS it perhaps gives you more flexibility to sell your old car elsewhere.
Based on my own recent negotiations 10% seems about right - I noted that Drive the Deal and Autobytel were offering very slightly more through their channels. An enquiry through Autobytel led to a call from a Land Rover dealer who said he would find me a car but I have heard nothing since........
So have now done a good deal with my local dealer for a Black Edition!!

100% agree with the above. Look at the cost to change as opposed to an attractive discount or part-exchange figure in isolation. To get one or other is great but only the figure to change is the true transaction cost.

Thanks for the replies.

Well I have already sold the current car and so will go with the deal on the table, it is for a car that will be delivered in March.

So I will hopefully be the proud owner of a HSE Black before too long! ! Very Happy
