Timing replacement on my 2005 RRS 2.7

I rang Land Rover for a price on parts for a 105k timing belt change on my RRS 2.7 , they said I only need to change the 3 belts and the idler ? , I asked about changing the tensioner but they said they dont replace the tensioner is this correct ???

Not a mandated/routine replacement but a wise move.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

I just posted this in the other cambelt thread:
Only the HPFP belt kit is different for 07MY>onwards models, and the aux belt is for non-ARC cars
Tensioners are included in the kits

Quote:
You need:

LR016655 x1 Cambelt kit
1311306 x2 Idlers
PQS500370 x1 Aux belt
1324388 x1 HPFP belt

Tensioners come in each kit. Dayco are OEM manufacturers. You can buy them from Bearmach/Britpart at around half the price of Genuine LR, and still receive exactly the same parts, just not in an LR box
