England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
105k/7yr Servive on TDV6

Hi guys, quick query.

My car is due its annual service this month.

2006 HSE which is 7yrs old but only done 62k. Is it worth having the belts changed as per the schedule? Just curious due to the mileage.

LR have said £1200 and local Independent has said £700. Compared to £300 for a regular service.

Many thanks for any input!

I just had my 7yr service completed with the belts changed at 32,000 miles. The general advice is it's age rather than mileage.
By the way my total cost was £597 by an independent near Perth. RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE 2012 Santorini Black

yep.. 7 years is just as important as mileage and to maintain the proper service history must be carried out even though it's not done the estimated 105k mileage. RRS gone

Anyone got a list of the service schedule for parts to be replaced / serviced on the 105k service.

It costs around £350 (inc VAT) to have both timing belts replaced, as opposed to £10,000 to replace the engine...
They should be changed at 105k miles, or 7years, whichever comes first

No brainer IMHO Thumbs Up
