I go to oxford regularly to visit my daughter and will stay well clear of them if I have a problem

I have blackvue footage of local lr specialist testing my rrs subwoofer and accelerater in a 30 up to 40mph on the mot and I was not amused so can imagine how you feel

I will probably not use them again but running out of places to go

Land Rover spoke to DP & got same answer as I did.

I must say a really big thank you to Land Rover they have treated it with due respect and did try on my behalf

So now so incensed I've contacted both the Police & local press, I'm sure they will both find that Hartwells are beyond reproach ! Paul

How can they justify speeding to test a brake fault? surely that is an unsafe way to replicate an issue?

If they had anything about them they should have run it at a dyno, wherethey could have run those speeds without any danger to the public, not to mention your licence.

Interesting that a dealer principal gives the ok for technicians to exceed speed limits and this break the law

In a way I hope you receive a speeding fine just to push this further with the dealership and the police.

Hartwell were unrepentant when I asked them to explain themselves, didn’t seem to care that they had broken the law, shown no regard to your vehicle or put people in danger!

Im sure if they do not care about how they treat a customers car & breaking the law, they likewise probably do not bother servicing it properly either

Its a franchise, so they have no direct control over the dealership, but can have discussions around the bad press for the brand.....
