Hi All,

I am having issues with my suspension and would appreciate advice from you experts please

So a while back I got the dreaded suspension fault unable to rise etc. Based on this I took the car to the Dealer and they did a magic trick where they turned lots of my cash into a new shiny compressor.

Since then I get a new error message (intermittantly) which is just plain suspension fault and the 'wobbly car' dash light. All the air suspension works. This only seems to happen on longer journeys.

I took it back to the dealers and they think I have a leak. They also said that these are a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack - giving an example of spending weeks to track down

So they recommended that I check the car if it has sat for a while to see if any of the corners are down. It seems that the passenger rear does this.

So I have searched on here and read lots of threads but I could not find any straight forward advice on how I can try to track this down further - or help my dealer to do this with the minimum of time to protect my bank balance.

That looks a great starting point I was searching for +suspension +fault so missed this.

Have to say, being non technical, I've broken out in a sweat just looking at the thread before I've even got near to doing anything to the car

Hello again,

So my P+J is sat at the dealers having had a full leak test and fault code read. The dealer says there are no fault codes or leaks on the air suspension they could find

Does anyone have an idea why my suspension light is coming on please?

Seems it is on longer journeys, where I travel at speed?

I'd check the battery terminals are tight.
