Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I have always said that cars and houses are cheap in the UK but then I did the RRS versus annual salry test and came up with the following:

Average salry in Australia = $70,000 (46,000 Pounds) Bsic new RRS = $120,000 (79000 pounds) = 1.7 years salary for an RRS.

Average salary in the UK is 27,000 Pounds according to BBC website. Basic RRS cost = 42,000 Pounds? = 1.55 years salary for an RRS.

Of course, there will not be many "average" salary earners driving RRSs, if at all but it is a good indicator of affordability.

Not much in it then. I expect that the car companies are very good at working this out!

Perhaps we should have a new index? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

has the price of a new car changed over the last few years? if you take the exchange rate of 2.50dollars/pound 4 years ago, the price would be £48k, LR must be making a fortune out of the exhange rates just now
cheers
