United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Independent Inspection

As some may know with my various posts on here i have had since purchasing my RRS from new a whole host of problems with it.

It's been in & out of the dealership for weeks on end & LR have become involved.

Unfortunately all to no avail, the vehicle is still suffering the same faults and LR basically say it's within tolerance or we'll book it back in to the dealer.

I've even had the discussion with LR about replacing the vehicle of which they basically butt out of saying that's an issue with the purchasing dealer and not them, however they would in view of the situation look to make a contribution.

Both of these are not really an option as the purchasing dealer were a bunch of Censored and a replacement even with a contribution from LR just doesn't stack up financially.

So my next move i think is to get and independent AA type inspection on the car so i can go marching off to LR with this and see where that gets me (if anywhere).

Does anyone know of this type of thing on a fairly new car (7000 miles)?

Or indeed does anyone else have any suggestion as to my next move........ Owner of MY13 RRS Red Edition, Santorini Black, Ebony with Lunar, Privacy Glass & Exterior Design Pack

In your situation, I'd be consulting my solicitor about rejecting it. There are a couple of people on the Disco 3/4 site that have been successful with this action after enduring time with an unfixable "lemon".

I had similar issues with Stratstone - the only solution was to get some special involvement and move dealers.

Try an engineer report - but you may find this will only help you with the legal side.

Land Rover are correct - its the dealer you have the issue with.
