I've been out in it tonight, car drove pretty fine in normal mode, in snow mode was famtastic though! Even done a touch of offloading (climbing out of a car park up a snow covered grass verge about the height of the car, along it, then dropping down into a different car park Laughing )

Will post some pics tomorrow, its already started raining here, we don't get anywhere near as much snow as everyone else in other parts of the country Sad Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

I dont want to be a kill joy - there seems to be a few people on here giving 4x4 owners a bad name by thinking they can drive off road on public land.

Please dont do it or post it up - it is actually breaking the law and why we have lost greenlanes around the UK.

Sorry for the moan Mike

What if you are stuck in a car park with an abandoned car blocking the only way in/out, and rather than risk freezing to death by walking 15 miles home along dangerous roads, you take the only way out that you can, while in the eyes of the law it might seem "illegal" but you do what it takes when it comes to it. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. If the highway is blocked you can legally move any obstruction, as long as you only move it enough to facilitate the passage along the highway (or its not an official obstruction - official obstructions you cant move). You must avoid damage (unless your cutting down a tree) and all parts must be left. If you damage a car you should leave your details.

Maybe, maybe not - but acting as complete d Censored ks doesnt do anything but make it worse, where repairing the image can take a long time, but worth it in the end...and that happens when we help people.

i dont usually get worked up by it...but this sort of "i saw a mound and drove it" attitude really does

...maybe more so after years of being a RoW officer for a major LR club

Thumbs Up also, dont do drugs Thumbs Up Mike

What if you don't have the ability to move an object that is blocking your way?

I once had to bounce a car out of the way with 2 other drivers as it was blocking a b road in the middle of nowhere...it seemed like the owner had gone for a walk and half put the handbrake on. New ish car as well! Mike

Completely OT but w/regards to the last post, turned up at work on my m/bike to find that some inconsiderate sod had parked his car in the motorcycle bay. There were a couple of other bikers hanging around & a traffic warden who was quite happy to give it a ticket but couldn't get it towed away so we could park. What she did say though was that if it was causing an obstruction, then she could and that she would be back in 5 minutes. Fortunately I worked for a courier company, so called up a couple more bikers and we bounced the car into the middle of the road & parked up our bikes. Traffic warden duly returned, called in an obstruction and 15 minutes later car was towed away Mr. Green

Remorse? Nah!

That's why one should carry a tow rope in the boot... Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Had the pleasure of pulling a BMW X3 out of a car park. A farmer was going to pull him out with some baile twine so my mate aske if he wanted a proper length of rope which i always carry.
Came out no probs as expected, bloke said he will tell his wife she should have bought a range rover. I wonder who wears the trousers in that house!
