Im planning the same mod and hadn't thought or even noticed the reflectors.

Yes rear reflectors are needed for an mot Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

Also beware as police officers use it as an excuse to pull you and give you a rectification notice and fine !

You could just have a stick on reflector (possibly 1 each side) for the mot, and take that off after the mot Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

I didn't even pick up on the reflector issue when i swapped mine over for LED's Neither did my dealer when they MOT'd my motor

I've just checked and I'm sure the lower quarter section is a rear reflector (next to the fog)

+ 2 & passed MOT ??? as soon as the weathers eased I am fitting the 12MY rear bumper which does have the refectors fitted. 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

take a photo with a flash on, and see what the reflections like, might get enough back to fool the MOT or police |
