2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Bali Blue
Supercharged in Scotland!

Hello everyone. I got my two year old Supercharged Autobiography on Christmas Eve. It joins my two Range Rover Classics (one hard, one soft dash) in the garage along with a few others including eight Fiat 132 2000 – anyone remember them?!

This is the newest car I have owned. I am not used to having a car without a MOT! So far I have clocked up 1k without any problems. I am sure I’ll get more familiar her when things start going wrong!

The acceleration for such a big car is extremely impressive and seems quicker than my R129 Merc 500SL!

Thanks very much. I am not too far from Dundee but try to spend as much time as I can up in Skye so I am looking forward to taking this one up there!

2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Bali Blue

Thanks for the welcomes folks. As I bought the RRS 'blind' (I just saw pictures and not in the metal) I was actually more worried about the interior before I got her! It has the black and white - sorry Ebony and Ivory interior! However, I am very happy with it.

The main reason for getting her was my softdash Classic is away getting a new engine fitted and will then be away for a body restoration. My father-in-law gave up driving so he passed on his Suzuki Vitara to us but it was just not me! Needing something for winter, I suggested to Mrs "You Are Not Getting Any More Cars" that we ditch the Suzuki and get the RRS. To my utter surprise, she said yes so it is now part of the fleet!

I plan to get her detailed in the Spring to really bring out the colour. At the moment she is on 'winter duty' so is getting used every day in all weathers.

The 131 (especially the Sport) is a great car and I almost got one of the last 2litre Panoramas (estates) a few years back. The 132 is separate car form the 131 but I often get asked when I am out in one of the 132s "oh is that one of those Mirafioris? They were great cars!" Or "My Dad/Uncle/Brother/Friend used to have one of those. They were very fast!"

I've got eighteen cars but some of my cars are really only good for spares and will never see the road again. I had a garage built next to the house a few years ago that takes thirteen or so. Obviously, I should have got it bigger! Range Rover Sport Autobiography Supercharged. Audi R8 Spyder V10. Audi S8 (D2). Range Rover Classics (x2). Daimler V8 (X308). Mercedes 500SL (R129). England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 SE Siberian Silver

That is one good looking RRS!! and lovely spec too. Cool

We test drove a 11 plate HSE in Bali Blue with Ivory interior prior to ordering our MY12. The near white interior would have taken a bit too much effort to keep clean though. RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.
3.0 SDV6 256hp, 8 speed autobox with flappy paddles, Factory fitted options: Privacy glass, tow pack, heated seats, heated steering wheel, RSE, centre cool box, premium carpets, mood lighting, vision pack and memory pack.

I am over in St Andrews a fair bit so I'll keep an eye open. I should not be hard to miss!

I was getting out of the RRS tonight in the town centre and this young, hippy-ish chap approched me and said "Great, I have seen you about for a few days and was really wanting to speak to you". With clenched fist in one hand and the key fob in the other (that could knock anyone out with one blow!) I waited for him to continue. "Is that an original Range Rover colour? I am doing up a VW Camper and I love that colour." Relaxing my hands, I was happy to let him know it was and I am sure he will be away looking up Bali Blue on the internet! It should look nice on a Camper. Coming to a surf meet near you soon - dudes! Range Rover Sport Autobiography Supercharged. Audi R8 Spyder V10. Audi S8 (D2). Range Rover Classics (x2).
