Hi all I have worked out how to store contacts correctly and also how not to get emails stored in your contacts list on your radio display I will post a how to tomorrow as I haven't got time tonight cheers Pete

Sussed it out and this works:

Put the complete name on the first line and ensure the phone is set for "First/Last". That will display the phone contacts correctly.

Then go into 'settings', then 'mail, contacts, calendars', then 'hotmail', then 'contacts' OFF.

This then removes the unwanted email addresses from being displayed in the car when you turn Bluetooth on.

Sorted !!!

Who Sussed it out si lol Rolling with laughter you must log into your iCloud account make sure iCloud sync is turned off delete all stored contacts in your iCloud account then turn on your iCloud sync and re sync your phone if not iCloud will put what you had stored in iCloud back on your phone. Ps I'm claiming the how to on this one Bow down

Credit where due - this is not my handywork, but Pete's.

What l put in my previous post is only temporary as it's not a permanent fix. Going to try what Pete has suggested later and will let you all know accordingly.

Update - l didn't get time to try what Pete suggested last night, but l did resync my phone via my PC and found that it still works fine when connected to Bluetooth just by unticking 'contacts' in Hotmail.
